Mwanainchi Bakers and Confectioners Ltd started its humble beginning within the environs of Bombolulu, Mombasa. It started operating in the year 2008 as a home based bakery business. The founders noticed a gap that existed then as the major players in the bread industry dictated the prevailing bread prices. This made the basic commodity out of reach for the most common Mwananchi, which lead to the entry of Mwanainchi Bakers and Confectioners Ltd into the market.
